Kite Day was a Success!

The Village of Centennial Springs hosted its first family friendly event at the park in Northwest Las Vegas. The weather was perfect and it was just windy enough to fly those kites. The turnout was amazing and we can’t wait for the next one! The Centennial Hills neighborhood is just waiting for more great stuff to do.

Thank Heaven for an Amazing Contractor!

I’m sure you have heard a million horror stories about contractors and the nightmare they can create for a homeowner or business owner. I have had the pleasure of working with an absolutely fabulous Las Vegas contractor. Their customer service, communication and willingness to go out of their way to make sure I’m happy has been better than I ever could have expected. I would highly recommend them for any project you need to be completed on budget and on time

Organic Skincare and Gorgeous Blankets!

Robbie Adrian is a line of luxurious organic blankets that celebrities have been snatching up left and right. They use the softest velour, fleece and silk fabrics to make unforgettable gifts for baby. Even better, they are machine washable and dryable! You have to see these in person to appreciate how wonderful these are. The mom owned company uses domestic organic cotton and keeps their production here in the USA. They are truly a cutting edge company and we are so thrilled to have them!

Erbaviva is one of my absolute favorite skincare lines. Their packaging is modern and gorgeous and the stuff inside is even better! They use pure certified organic ingredients to make the safest and healthiest products available. Babies are incredibly vulnerable to environmental toxins. Using natural skincare is the best way to nurture the soft sensitive skin on our little ones. Erbaviva uses ingredients that are great for excema, diaper rash and dry skin.

My Fascination with Baby Shoes…

Ok I admit it… I have a thing for baby shoes. So I really couldn’t help myself when it came to ordering for the store. I had so many fabulous brands to choose from.. how could I possibly choose? So here are a few more sneak peaks at some great stuff you’ll find in the shop :-)

Sweet Shoes is a brand spanking new line of soft soled baby and toddler shoes. The company is owned and operated by an amazing mompreneur. She is super sweet and designs original, edgy and hip shoes! Several of her styles have been spotted on mega celebrity babies like Shiloh (Jolie’s daughter).

See Kai Run is my all time favorite line of children’s shoes. I had a really hard time choosing which styles to carry. The owner and designer creates new styles twice a year for the spring/summer season and the fall/winter season. The soles on these shoes are much more substantial than the soft soled shoes, like Pediped, which make them perfect for a running-like-mad-all-day toddler. The best part is that even though the sole is thicker, it is super flexible and soft for little feet. Sizes range from 3-9. Ideal for 12 months to 3 years

Isabooties

This is an adorable 100% vegan soft sole shoe line. They are machine washable, you can even toss them in the dryer! They are made out of a versatile ultrasuede fabric that resists stains and scuffs. The soles are made out of a high tech fabric with a rubber coating that retains its grip factor even when wet. They have seasonal designs and sizes range from 3-24 months.

Our First Products are Arriving!

Our first product shipments are arriving! We are so excited to see all of the amazing products we have worked so hard to discover. We have spents hundreds of hours of researching, and wading through all the stuff out there to select only the best quality and most unforgettable products on the market.

Here is a sneak peak at some of our great finds!

Nandina bath linens are the softest towels you have ever experienced! They come in so many gorgeous colors, I wish I had room for all of them. The towels are made with 75% bamboo and 25% organic cotton.

  • Highly absorbent, very breathable, and ultra-soft. This makes it both luxurious and practical as well.
  • Resistant to odor, mold, mildew, and bacteria even after numerous washings.
  • Easy care: it does not wrinkle and is machine washable in cool water. Fabric softeners are not needed or recommended.
  • Colorfast and only organic and natural dyes are used.
  • Environmentally responsible because pesticides and fungicides are not used in the growing of bamboo as is it is seldom eaten by insects or infected by pathogens.
  • Made from a sustainable resource: It takes only 3 years for bamboo to reach maturity at which time it can be harvested. The entire plant is never harvested and re-growth occurs rapidly.

LuSa Organics

This is an afforable yet amazing organic body and baby skincare line made by hand in Wisconsin. Booty Balm, Chin and Cheek Rub and Calendula Baby Soap are just a few of their fabulous products. They are an evironmentally and socially conscious business, which we love

Pediped Shoes

Most of you may already be familiar with Pediped. They are the perfect first shoe for babies and toddlers. The soft sole is the best shoe for little ones learning how to walk. We have worn holes in several well loved pairs at our house! They are one of the best infant shoes out there…trust me, I’ve searched high and low and these shoes are the best of the best. Pediped is a locally based company out of Henderson NV. Sizes range from 0-3 months up to 18-24 months.

Two Months To Go…

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed… we have only two months to go before we open the doors at the shop. Our garage at the house is starting to grow with boxes, cabinets, supplies and random store stuff.

The baby just woke up, I can hear her saying “mama!” down the hall. Guess I’ll write more later!

Good night
